Sketch done!!

YAY! This is the final design that i am going to use for the final assignment. Its just a line art of the sketch and i will be coloring this as fast as possible ^^. I will now explain how i came out this drawing haha.

Actually i like to show a young lady trying to escape from the dome. Inside of the dome is some sort of nature habitat with some animals living, giving it some fantasy here. The young lady is also dress in a Victorian style of clothings. She is trying to escape the dome with you, which is why the reason she look at the camera direction. You are the main character who came and meet her from your mission of adopting her, but in the end she wants you to take her with you.

The overall concept is very fantasy, which most of Alfons Mucha’s illustration is trying to accomplish. This story was inspired by the famous manga series “Clover” from clamp, which also trying to mix art nouveau to the story. For me, i think the dome can fully make use of the art nouveau style. The Victorian dress is also very well used in many art nouveau. The sketch may be out of perspective, but i would like to show the twisted and fantasy world of this illustration.

I will also try to use a new type of cg which very much resemble water coloring so as to give a rough look like a painting. The line art is done by 0.5 copic artliner instead of my usual line art in photoshop and illustrator CS is also part of the ‘raw’ look that i want to express.
